Part two: The spiral "is it gymnastics?"

After all the encouragement and great advice I recieved( will never end a thread again, before starting a new one), I had to finish this spiral. I could not let these fantastic people down, BUT to complete this spiral I need a little more, as I was worn more thin than cheap toilet paper(well that's a topic for another day). Then the light went on(happens once in a while), I had to relate this to my favorite sport gymnastics, I had to make Nastia Luken and Sean Johnson proud. You will be amazed to know I found the link, the triple and a half layout. It is a movement that carries a "G" value in gymnastics, the highest that can be obtained. The gymnast must maintain a straight body while rotating around the lateral axis three and half times, just like the spiral (or my stiff one anyway), the gymnastic symbol resemblence is frighting.
So, all you spiral beadweaver out their, your work can be relate to one of the most beautiful sports gymnastics, like the gymnast we practice and practice till we are weary and tired but we never give up, eventually we get it perfect and the results are amazing, worth the old perfect "10",
worthy of being called gymnastics.

The fight of the Century: Beadweaver vs Spiral weave

Okay, how did it all start, well some bright spark from Etsy Beadweavers team, listed some great spiral weave designs (so kind of her), downloaded them all (so greatful) and forgot about it.
Then during a email Christine of the Etsy beadweaver mentioned how much she like spiral weaves, which once again reminded me of those I had downloaded. So, for the first time in my life, I was going to make a spiral weave or that's what I thought. All started well, and it started to look like something, then it hit me (about 30 rows later) my step-up was missing, no longer was I busy with a odd count, but lo and behold I had an even count or was it odd count peyote, still not sure. So, because of this awful flaw of being a perfectionist, I pulled it out till the step-up appeared. After a few rows my thread started knotting, as a result of the pulling out. Time to work a piece away and start a new thread, did just that. Guess what, because it was a spiral I could not find the place I had ended the other thread, took me about 4 attempts to get back on track. I pride myself with being a very cool calm and collect person, but boy oh boy was this wearing me thin.
After a few huffs and puffs I was back on track, my spiral reaching about 10cm, when my husband comes and sits next to me and says " rather stiff don't you think", I was going to say what do you know about "stiff" but since he was a male, decided against it.
So, we both started laughing at my spiral that won't bend, I look at him and said " maybe I have the alternative to viagra here.
Is my spiral finished, "NO" WILL I FINISH IT "YES" stiff or not.
Will post it, as soon as it's done( cannot promise when) but it will be completed, this fight I will win.
